Healthy Recipe: oatmeal with cinnamon and apples



INGREDIENTS:
2 apples, peeled, cored and sliced into bite size pieces
1-1/2 cup original almond milk
1-1/2 cup water
1 cup uncooked steel-cut oats
2 tbsp pure maple syrup (or your desired sweetener)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp ground flaxseed (I used flaxseed meal)
1/8 tsp salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

Add all ingredients to a slow cooker.
Stir, cover and cook for 7 - 8 hours on low.
Makes approximately 7 servings
